In my work designing empowering sportswear for women, I focused on overcoming barriers in sports through inclusive design. Recognising women's unique challenges, I developed specialised garments that address critical needs such as period protection and post-surgery compression. My designs incorporated innovative fabric technologies that provide comfort, support, and functionality, enabling women to stay active without compromising on performance or confidence. The period protection sportswear was engineered to offer discreet and reliable coverage, allowing women to focus on their sport without distraction. For women recovering from surgery, I created compression garments that support healing while also providing the freedom of movement necessary for physical activity. This work not only honed my technical skills but also reinforced my commitment to designing apparel that empowers all women to participate fully in sports, regardless of the challenges they may face.
